Scrappy Tea Cozy

I have been drinking a lot of tea lately with the chilly weather. I was getting tired of my tea in the pot cooling before I was done drinking it.
So today, I pulled out a bunch of scraps and went to work. The cozy is lined with scraps of chenille from all the bibs I have made and has a thin layer of cotton batting in the middle for insulation. I think it turned out really cute.
Now for some Sleepytime Tea and local honey from our CSA farm. Yum!

Darling Sewing!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a nice comment on my blog. This was just a rotten day but your kind words were such a nice ending to it. I hope we love Seattle. We are thinking about living about 20 minutes north of the city in a town called Mukilteo. Everyone who has spent anytime there tells me it's right up my alley. It has to be better than the 20 below winters here in MN! Thank you again : )
